Too Busy For Words....

What's On My Mind Today:  Life is just so busy...Full-time college student with a gazillion assignments, working, family.  WOW.  There is not enough time in the day and no schedule can accommodate everything I need to do.  God, just let me keep on putting one foot in front of the other to keep on making it through.  So, let me get off still have a few chapters to read before tomorrow and an article to finalize...until tomorrow.

  1. So much to do; so little time. Why is it that in this society we feel that we have to do it all? In this world of overwhelming obligations and fast paced living, we must learn to slow down.... Let us not wait until we get old, sick, and unable to move any faster to slow down. Some say life is short, I say life is long....Enjoy the journey.

  2. You know, in some ways I agree, but I spent a lot of time not living...and now, as busy as I am I love college, despite the complaints. I am in my element when I can get that A, even if I am up all night, since I never thought I would ever go back. Graduation is on May 14, 2011 and I will slow down a bit, but I still read and fish...so I do take time to enjoy as much relaxation as I can. But keep reminding me...

  3. Life is the journey. The end is not the goal, the here and the now is the goal to another goal. It doesn't end until The End. Nothing really good ever comes easy and without sacrifice and arduous paths wrought with tenacious determination. Find your strength in yourself, God, nature, or whatever it takes. I do agree that it is hard to slow down when there seems to be so much you want to grasp and desire to achieve.
That's the tough balance of life. How do you achieve, relax, dwell, repose, enjoy, celebrate? -Jim
